He will be appearing at the Sydney Writers' Festival, Pier 4/5 Walsh Bay on Sunday, May 17.

    • Library Subject Guide to online resources - An extensive set of links from our Heyward Library to resource pages, reviews, associations and topic related material in children's literature, young adult literature, literary theory, criticism and history. Browse through the thematic Bibliographies pages (drawn from our Library) as well. Reviews - Reviews, by staff and students, of current children's and YA titles. Many of these first appeared in the Review pages of the Bendigo Advertiser newspaper Awards - Lists of, and criteria for, the winners of the plethora of awards available in Australia for children's and young adult literature Authors and Illustrators - Primarily authors and illustrators who feature in the courses and the Conferences, but that has become a rather broad list anyway! Courses of study - Children's and Young Adult Literature studies at La Trobe University, Bendigo were first offered as part of Education courses. Over time they have grown into a group of academic units that can be taken, either singly or in sequence, as part of many courses at the campus. Check out the course outlines, their reading lists and the thematic Bibliographies Conference - The biennial Conference has also been a major feature for the University and the Bendigo community, attracting delegates from across Australia and a "Who's Who in Australian children's lit" speaker list.
