Review: Rival Snow Cone Maker

I bought my boys a snow cone maker a couple years ago. Now, first, a warning: this thing is noisy! But my kids love making their own snow cones during the long, hot summer, so it's probably worth the noise.

Overview
Making the Right Decision
One of the most important decisions you will ever make as a parent is choosing quality child care for your child. Every child is special and unique and deserves the best start possible. Studies reveal that a high quality child care program will help prepare a child for school readiness by increasing their chances to succeed. Research also indicates that employers benefit when their employees' children are in quality child care arrangements because parents are more secure and stable in their work environment. This makes parents more productive; thus, making a win-win situation for everyone: parents, children and employers.

child care DEFINITIONS. The universe of respondents in the SIPP child care module consists of adults who are the parents of children under 15 years old.
http://www.census.gov/population/www/socdemo/child/ppl-168.html

Detailed Tables (PPL-168)
The child care data presented in the detailed tables come from the tenth interview of the 1996 Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP) Panel conducted between April and July 1999 and refer to child care arrangements used in the month prior to the interview. These data continue a series that dates back to 1985. Definitions of terms used in the tables and a tables of contents are provided below. CHILD CARE DEFINITIONS The universe of respondents in the SIPP child care module consists of adults who are the parents of children under 15 years old. A designated parent is selected in households where both parents are present to report child care arrangements for each child. In married-couple families, the mother is the designated parent. If the mother is not available for an interview, proxy responses are accepted from the father or husband. In single-parent families, the resident parent is the designated parent. If neither parent is in the household, the guardian is the designated parent. Designated parents include biological, step- and adoptive parents, or other relatives/non-relatives acting as a guardian in the absence of parents. In this report, unless otherwise noted, the term parent is used to refer to the designated parent.

balanitis
Balanitis is a condition of uncircumcised males. If the foreskin is not retracted and the penis not cleaned under the foreskin properly, infection and inflammation of the surface of the glans penis can occur. This usually responds very easily to gentle cleansing, antibiotic ointment, and perhaps an oral antibiotic for a few days. Posthitis is inflammation of the prepuce (foreskin) for the same reason as above and is treated the same way.
