CLASS NOTES JULY-AUGUST 1999 It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing the early "retirement" of my fellow class correspondent, Regina Duffey. Although I will miss being in regular contact with Regina, motherhood requires and deserves her full attention. The Class of '90 joins me in thanking you, Regina, for your great work as class correspondent since our graduation. I will be doing the rest of the news columns until class elections in June 2000. While we are on the topic of class elections, if you have any questions regarding a position on the Class of '90 Council for 2000-2005, or if you would like to add your name to the ballot, please send an e-mail to Kevin M. McManus (mcfox85@gte.net). After receiving the group e-mail about Reunion 2000, my former Founders Hall co-resident advisor Chris Graham sent me a brief note to say hello. He is enjoying civilian life after leaving the US Army. Chris was a defense attorney in the Judge Advocate General's Corps, and is now with the firm of Hunton and Williams in Virginia. In spring of 1998, Chris enjoyed a round of golf at Hilton Head, SC with John C. Small, Matthew Gold, Tom Shpetner, Phil Sandler, and Andy Isikoff '91. Chris also speaks to John Arabia '91 from time to time. Still in the Army is Capt. Noelle Briand. She completed her second company command at Ft. Wood, MO (Headquarters Co, 5th Engineer Battalion). The Army is sending her to Troy State U., where she is pursuing a master's degree in international relations. After she completes her studies, Noelle will be assigned to a tour as a civil affairs officer. She did not see many Cornellians in Missouri, but hopes her move to Raeford, NC, will bring some visitors her way.

His wife was in good spirits but Mack his son was pretty sick. Poor little guy sounded so congested but all he'd say was "I'm fine." We bbqed ribs and burgers. It was nice to sit around and eat good food with friend's. We stayed almost 5 hours when I figured we should head home and check on the furry monsters. We got stuck in quite the traffic jam on the way back. The puppers were so happy to see us Clovee peed up a nice watermelon sized puddle. It's always good to come home;) We reorganized the back bedroom and while I was putting away the laundry Clover found a wasp. Luckily the jumpy little fraidy cat that she is she jumped and missed getting stung a few seconds before I could snatch her up.
