    Word: Word Starts with Ends with Definition Canadian Ministers for International Trade The Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) was among the most powerful departments of the Government of Canada. In the late-1980s and early-1990s it was known as External Affairs and International Trade Canada. In 1993, the newly elected Liberal government changed it to the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (an Act of Parliament formally recognized the change in 1995).

He was first elected to the House of Commons in 1963 before entering provincial politics and being elected leader of the Nova Scotia Liberals in 1965. Regan entered the provincial legislature in 1968 and aggressively persued the government of George Smith as Leader of the opposition leading a fourteen hour filibuster against the government's plans to increase the sales tax in 1969.
