Forensic Psychology Doctoral Programs
General Program Description Faculty PhD Curriculum PsyD Curriculum ... Admissions
There have been a number of recent developments in the socio-political landscape, including escalation of domestic and international terrorism; the public outcry to "get tough on crime"; and the changing demographics of those who are served by, as well as those who administer, the legal and mental health systems. These changes call for sensitivity to the unique dilemmas that confront forensic psychologists and those they serve, with an eye to advocacy for change. Our program significantly enhances a fundamental knowledge of psychology with exposure to a very broad range of issues that frame the discipline. Both the PhD and the PsyD degree curricula are formulated to meet the ever-evolving needs of forensic institutions, not just those that exist today.
Interim Program Director
The AIU College of Arts and Sciences offers both PsyD and PhD programs in Forensic Psychology in Fresno and a part-time PsyD program in Los Angeles.

    http://www.dairycouncilofca.org/globals/glob_abou_gene.htm

History and Mission Since 1919, Dairy Council of California has been an innovator in nutrition education. The Dairy Council of California's vision driving our efforts into the 21st century is to become the recognized pioneer in advancing the role of food in achieving whole health through individualized learning The Dairy Council's nutrition education programs for school aged children and adults have touched the lives of millions of Californians. We strive to enhance the health and well-being of children and adults by enabling individuals to make healthful food and lifestyle choices.
    Nutrition Philosophy
We embrace a nutrition approach that centers on a core of low fat choices, based on the USDA Food Guide Pyramid. Individuals are encouraged to eat a wide variety of foods, moderate portion sizes, and balance food choices over time. We believe that all foods can be part of healthful eating when managed for variety, moderation, and balance over time. We do not support labeling individual foods as "good" or "bad." We recognize that favorite foods, regardless of fat or calorie content, can be part of a balanced diet when using the above principles.

CHIEF PROBATION OFFICERS OF CALIFORNIA June 2003 Statewide Survey on Delinquency Prevention and Early Intervention Programs A survey was conducted by the CPOC Delinquency Prevention/Early Intervention Committee in late 2002 to inventory delinquency prevention and early intervention programs operated in probation departments throughout the State, and a report was formulated for the CPOC meeting in March based on the information that was returned.  In April of 2003, twenty-three probation departments that had not responded to the original survey were invited to be included in the statewide results.  This report reflects data from the initial 35 counties, plus the additional data received from thirteen subsequent respondents.  As the numbers reported were not always complete, the intent of this report is to provide a descriptive representation of probation activity in California; not a scientific, numerically accurate analysis. Total Counties Reporting: 48 Prevention Early Intervention Total number* of annual referrals: Total number* of juveniles served: Total number* of probation positions: Total number* of probation programs: *Numbers not fully reported The Chief Probation Officers of California ascribe to the following key principles concerning juvenile delinquency prevention and intervention programs in California: 1.   There is validated evidence that prevention and intervention programs reduce and prevent          entrance into the juvenile justice system and reduce recidivism.
