I am presently hip-deep developing a model of virtual (i.e., over the internet) Collaborative Action Research (AR). I am using the 1996 Heron model because it appears to have the kind of "decision tree" structure to it to which the intelligent agent CLABORN working in my Model takes a particular fancy. CLABORN is also intensely social. He desires to be a trusted and productive member of his wetware (human) AR groups. CLABORN feels that everyone having to work within the communicative limitations of being in the same virtual boat together might turn out to be an advantage for him with respect to earning the trust of his groups is concerned.
