http://www.geocities.com/jthoma@sbcglobal.net/index.html
THE THOMASSON FAMILY TREE (Including the spelling variation THOMASON) This branch of the Thomasson family begins in the 16 th century with George Thomason of Sudlow, a small hamlet in Cheshire County, England. George of Sudlow was described in the Register of Stationer’s Hall as a Husbandman or farmer. George Thomason of London , son of George of Sudlow, became famous as the Collector of the King’s Pamphlets, now known as the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661) It is believed that Thomas Thomasson of Trowse, son of George of London, was the first Thomasson to immigrate to Colonial America. From Thomas of Trowse, the Thomasson and allied families spread across the United States. At this time, our database of the descendants of George Thomason of Sudlow includes over 15,000 names. Most of the information in our database was complied by Kenneth Thomasson We hope to add further content to this web site that is of interest to those researching the Thomasson family. Our goal is to make this web site your starting point for research on Thomasson heritage and genealogy. Finally one of the daughters arrives from the nearby house and pours some killer sangiovese while describing the immigrant family's winemaking history with visual aids from a mural on the tasting room wall. Paso: Very Down Home." San Francisco Magazine, October 2003 Truly Incredible Notes from Library Wines going back to 1988. If you have them you have to read this. If you don't have them, you have to read this! In our News Section is an appropriate name for this small winery and vineyard run by the brothers Gino and Joe Perata and their families. In Italian, Fratelli Perata means Perata Brothers. Brothers, Gino and Joe Perata, rekindled the winemaking history of their father, grandfather and great-uncle when they established their winery using grapes grown on their 31 acre vineyard. Sons of Italian immigrants, Gino and Joe learned winemaking at the knees of their father and great-uncle who produced hundreds of gallons of wine for family and friends while living in Camarillo located in Ventura County, California. Gino and Joe were taught from the very beginning about the need for hands-on work to produce top quality wines.
