A Genealogy Page celebrating ..................OUR FAMILY
Welcome to our genealogy home page!
I'm Ray Noble from Princeton, New Jersey. (I haven't yet succeeded in persuading my wife Alice or daughters Jennifer, Lisa, Sara, Mara, Jessica and Rachel to let me show their photo above, instead, but I'm still trying). This webpage describes our known family history. We present it as a gift to other family members, as a bridge in finding other relatives we've never met and as a repository that other family members are encouraged to supplement by passing information on to us. When complete, this page will not only trace our direct ancestors but, so far as we know them, other collateral lines of the descendants of those ancestors.
Below are four links to our four main family lines. Just click on the link to the page that describes the listed surname that interests you. NOTE: Only barebones genealogical data is provided here in respect for privacy. Please consult us for other biographical questions.
The Nobles and Their Relatives
Eight generations separate our grandchildren, Kayla May Mann and Christopher James Mann, and our earliest known ancestors, James Donahue and his wife, Sarah McGlinn, who were born in Ireland in the late 1700s. This part of our story actually traces two family lines: the McGlinn-Donahue-Hazlett-Rogers (McRory) line and the Noble-Moran line with whom they intermarried. Forty-five surnames appear in this section: Agos, Ashley, Barba, Barnes, Bertholf, Blake, Booth, Bradley, Bridgett, Brooks, Brosnan, Brunner, Burton, Cates, Donahue, Doyle, Ford, Garcia, Griffin, Hagopian, Hanlon, Hardy, Hazlett, Hitzelberger, Joyce, King, Mann, McGlinn, McLaughlin, McCrory, Meehan, Metzdorf, Morrissey, Niland, Noble, Orama, Osborne, Patton, Quickenton, Riley, Schneider, Slattery, Tucholski, Vollero, Williams, Woodside, Zechili.

Fowler Family
Origin of the Fowler name A Saxon Chief, fond of the chase, and being a daring hunter, was called Fowler. This Fowler, accompanied by numerous band of retainers and followers, went to England about a hundred years before the union of all the Kingdoms of England into one under Egbert.
SAPIENS QUI VIGILAT
Burke's Commoners Vol. II, p. 385, edition of 1834
The Crusade is shown by the crosses on the chevron. Royal service is shown by the chevron. The lions are "on guard" and protection to the person of the king is indicated by the coronet on the owl. The Fowler coat bears a helmet of silver, representing nobility; above the helmet is a wreath - symbol of chivalry, the emblem presented the favorite knight by a lady during a tournament. The silver flourishings behind the helmet represent the cap of honor, while the blue flourishings represent the mantle flowing from the helmet for protection ............ above the wreath is an owl.

What you can see on these pages
Data from family files, lots of names, my ancestry chart, and some photographs and other images. Although there are only a few Ritherdons left in England, and rather more in Australia, listed here are the names of many of the families they married into over the last four hundred years or so. The earliest records place the family in Devon and Somerset from where, at about the end of the sixteenth century, significant numbers migrated to the City of London and surrounding counties. In the nineteenth century two cousins served with the East India Company and had families in India. Later two of the grandchildren of one of them emigrated to Australia, via Canada, and founded the Ritherdon family there. If you would like to know more about anything in these pages please email me.

Starring: Raul Julia, Anjelica Huston, Christopher Lloyd, Christina Ricci
Review Summary For 25 years, Uncle Fester has gone missing from the Addams Family, a creepy but jovial collection of characters who live in a gothic mansion with its own graveyard. Tully Alford (Dan Hedaya), the Addams's attorney and cousin, cooks up a scheme to have a loan shark acquaintance's son Gordon (Lloyd) pretend to be Uncle Fester returned, so they can get access to the family's wealth. Gomez (Julia) and Morticia (Huston) Addams are overjoyed by "Fester's" return, but daughter Wednesday (Ricci) remains skeptical. This 1991 film adaptation of the short-lived 1960s TV series, itself inspired by Charles Addams's New Yorker cartoons, is mostly a series of pretty good cartoon jokes strung together by a weak and not very lively story although Julia and Huston turn in spirited performances. Best scene is when Wednesday (Ricci was only 10, but this was her third feature) and brother Pugsley (Jimmy Workman) turn an excerpt of Shakespeare into a bloody gross-out at their school play.

Bringing the Scottish community together from around the world! Dear Family Tree readers on Electric Scotland… For almost fifteen years, we’ve been – I hope – friends. You all know by now that with me, what you see is pretty much what you get. So, I think I need to share with you what’s happening with The Family Tree…so that, should you wish to, you can help. We just finished the June/July issue. It is ready for the printer except for a little final tweaking. Unless we find $8000 in the next week, it will not be printed and that will be the end of the printed edition. Our small donations – because of high gas prices, graduation, vacation, the war in Iraq, Mars is nearer than usual, the groundhog had a permanent wave...whatever - the small donations have just almost gone away. I’m not joking. I’m not kidding. Last October, when I was sick, I promised myself that I would not go begging from anyone again if this happened…but I find that I can’t simply sit here and let The Family Tree die. So, if you want to help…please send by PayPal or regular mail (PO Box 2828, Moultrie, GA 31776-2828) whatever you can.
