BTNY 1220 Homework Page Summer 2002 Overview For your plant research project, you will be selecting a flowering plant family and researching it. Homework will be assigned each week and will be due on Thursdays. Homework can be handwritten if readable by me, or typed. Each homework will be worth 10 points. The intent is to guide you through the research process by asking you to answer a limited set of questions each week. One fifth of the final (50 points) will consist of an essay summarizing the aspect of your particular plant family. I know I said they'd be 10 points each, but it seems to me that most people are working hard enough on them to make the remaining ones worth more. This will increase the influence of your homework on your final grade from 50/500=10% to 70/520=13.5%.
