101. Visual Basic Swap Site
Allows visual basic teachers to make exchanges of lesson plans for programming projects.
http://vbswapsite.com
Home Page What is the purpose of VbSwapSite? To give Visual Basic teachers the opportunity to exchange ideas for programming assignments, i.e. VB projects. I am primarily interested in projects for entry level programming studentsprojects that illustrate a few elementary concepts at a time. I want projects that will not overwhelm beginners. Of course some cute and challenging projects are welcome too. How Does It Work? It's two for one! For each project description you send to me, I will send two projects to you. Select "List of Projects" and find the two that you like best. Please do not send projects that are taken from a textbook, other websites, or are not your property. What Happens To Your Submitted Projects? They will be added to the "Projects List" and made available to other teachers. When possible, your project will be published exactly as is. Some projects will be edited for various reasons. The submittor's name will appear on published projects unless he/she prefers it not to be. (You should state clearly whether or not you want your name on your published project.) About the author.

    Introduction
This site is intended to assist "newbies" in programming computers. In this site I deal with the most common commands/tags in BASIC and HTML. These are the easiest languages to learn. I do not have a complete list of commands/tags on this site but if you want a complete list, you can e-mail me . If you can learn these two languages, you can learn almost any language. So have fun.
    BASIC
Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code, or BASIC, is the easiest programming language to learn, use and write. It uses simple commands such as PRINT and INPUT. Below is a list of the most common commands and their functions: PRINT: This command tells the computer to display text on the screen. For example, PRINT "BASIC is fun." would display BASIC is fun on the screen. INPUT: This command has two different syntax. The first one, INPUT A, tells the computer to wait for a text input from the computer before continuing. The second one, INPUT A$, would tell the computer to wait for a numerical input from the user before continuing. In either case, the letter "A" can be replaced with any letter or word. GOTO: This command tells the computer to go to a specific line. For example, GOTO 500 would tell the computer to go to line 500.

Targetted towards the ARM (2 thru 7, and StrongARM) from RISC OS, you may begin programming simply by using the basic assembler built into your computer. If you are a C programmer, the APCS is described.

    ARM ASSEMBLER
    March 2004...
This resource is being updated - primarily in an effort to make the code and examples more relevant to the (newer) 32bit environment. PLEASE NOTE:
The ARM processor has always been a true 32bit processor. However, in the 'old days' when 64Mb was an unimaginable amount of memory, we had a 26bit Program Counter; the other bits being mode bits and processor flags (PSR).
These days, 64Mb seems remarkably restrictive so the PC is now 32bit and the mode/PSR flags are in a separate register - actually it had been so since the mid-nineties when the ARM6 was introduced, only the ARM6/ARM7/StrongARM supported a 26bit option so older software would work okay. Because of this, RISC OS was never made '32bit' - until November 2002 - when it became so out of necessity as the latest ARM processors such as the XScale no longer support the older 26bit PC+PSR mode.
This is what we mean when we refer to '26bit' and '32bit'... the processor itself has always been 32bit - the width of the Program Counter is what has changed. If you don't want to read all of this on-line, you can download a Zip archive and read it off-line! Scroll down to the
