Preface
South Australia has had a long and interesting maritime history, scarred gumtrees a mute reminder of the aboriginal use of bark canoes.
European explorers were followed by sealers, and in 1836 the Province of South Australia was established. The sea provided the vital connection between the capital Adelaide and settlements established around the long coastline, and the world beyond.
By taking a wide range of topics and examining a ship particularly associated with each, the Committee of the Friends of the South Australian Maritime Museum hope to give you a glimpse of our maritime history.

Round 11 ponderings
9:39:33 AM Mon 7 June, 2004 Are the Saints tired? Will the Bombers-Lions clash this weekend be a genuine blockbuster? Is there a better coach than Denis Pagan is getting his side "up" after a shocker the week before? Paul Gough ponders this and more as he reviews round 11 and looks ahead to the Queen's Birthday long weekend - always one of the best rounds of the season. Headlines

The goal of this website is to help better the understanding of the ASCA Breed Standard of the Australian Shepherd.
The Australian Shepherd's primary purpose is that of a stock dog, able to take on multiple, utilitarian ranch tasks from moving livestock over large acreage to close-in pen work, requires endurance as well as lightning-quick agility.
These same traits serve the breed in other areas of performance such as Agility, Search and Rescue, Frisbee and Flyball competitions. Correct structure is just as desirable in the family pet as it is in the best ranch dog or top conformation competitor. I hope that this site is able to impart something of value to the Aussie owner, breeder, exhibitor and judge
