Purpose Christianity is unique in its affirmation of the goodness of material creation especially the goodness of the human body, which is the" Temple of The Holy Spirit" and thus should be treated with respect and care. At Christendom, the athletic program seeks to complement the College's higher goal of the moral and intellectual perfection of man. As a member of The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), Christendom fields intercollegiate teams in both men and women's soccer and basketball as well as men's baseball and women's softball. The athletic department maintains facilities and equipment to support a variety of student interests, such as tennis, racquetball, handball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, weightlifting, archery, and fencing. Junior Leah Ketcheson and senior Heather Mandoli have both been named to the All-Central Region first team and All-America first team (June 4). Corrigan Leads Men's Gymnasts at USA Championships Junior Geoff Corrigan placed 15th overall at the USA Gymnastics Championships, missing a trip to the Olympic Team Trials by one spot (June 4).
