Aruba is completely out of the hurricane belt. A word of caution, though, the sun is strongest between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Using a protective sunscreen is highly recommended.
    Language
The official language of Aruba is Dutch, but most Arubans are fluent in several different languages, including English and Spanish. You'll also hear the local Papiamento language which has evolved over the centuries. It is a mixture of Spanish, Dutch and Portugese, with a bit of Indian, English and French thrown in for good measure.

CIA World Factbook Entry Political separation from the Netherlands Antilles in 1986 gave Aruba full autonomy within the Dutch realm. The 66,000 residents of this 193-square-kilometer (75-square-mile) island depend on tourism and offshore banking for a GDP per capita income of $21,000.
