In these sections, the focus is on those countries or regions where some of the literature has been, or continues to be, written originally in the English language. Each specific guide includes suggested Library of Congress subject headings to use in searching the Western Libraries Online Catalog for that particular national or regional body of literature. In addition, each guide contains pertinent reference sources periodicals selected general works, and selected web resources The Selected General Works section in each guide includes seminal works and recent additions. Books, videorecordings and web resources may be covered. Most of the general works may be borrowed from the library. Be sure to check the Western Libraries Online Catalog for location and availability.
