Heards Ferry Elementary Annual Presidential Reception
This presentation will give the children opportunities to learn about our presidents and first ladies. It will require research,
planning together, and working together. Each table at our reception honors two presidents and their wives. Our fifth graders will be dressed as presidents and their wives.
At each table you may sample a favorite dessert of that president prepared by our students. You will also see a presidential portrait,
a reproduction of the White House china and flag of each administration. Introduce yourself to any of the forty-two presidents or their wives and they will recite a short speech about themselves to you. Come help us honor these Great Americans portrayed by future Great Americans.... Our Heards Ferry Fifth Graders!! After over a month of planning and research our fifth grade teachers see it come alive.
