The Occidental , the alumni magazine, is mailed to all members. The Association provides alumni-centered activities on the campus, as well as in major geographic centers of the country. The biggest annual event is Alumni Weekend, held in June. The entire alumni body is invited to participate in three days of activities. The Weekend is designed to be a re-creation of Occidental as remembered by the alumni. Reuniting classes meet, with each class claiming a dormitory so that returning classmates can "live in" if they so choose. The Annual Fund provides a means for alumni to express their interest in the College through financial support. At these meetings, in addition to the transaction of the business of the Association, the Directors are informed about University programs, facilities, and concerns. They participate in discussions with students, administrators, and faculty members. Informed Directors can thus provide knowledgeable leadership in interpreting Harvard to alumni and others. In addition, the HAA sponsors yearly meetings away from Cambridge in conjunction with local Harvard Clubs and graduate school associations. These meetings assist in spreading the current story of Harvard. The HAA Board Membership consists of the following:
