http://scarab.msu.montana.edu/Agnotes/
Ag Notes - Montana State University Welcome to AGRONOMY NOTES - An information resource prepared by Dr. Jim Bauder, Extension Soil and Water Quality Specialist in the Department of Land Resources and Environmental Sciences at Montana State University. The Agronomy Notes originated from a weekly news release and fact sheet series, initiated in 1995. The news release and resultant fact sheets accessible from this web page attempt to address topics of interest to crop and livestock producers, natural resource managers, and other interested individuals. Although the focus is primarily on irrigated and dryland cereal and forage crop production in the northern Great Plains, the series offers information in fact sheet format which is useful to a wide readership. The weekly news releases making up this web site are distributed electronically each Friday morning. Ag Notes

Getting the Most Out of Your Portfolio " by Yolonda Young and James W. Bauder
Many of the questions and issues addressed were prepared in response to questions from producers like yourself. Just a few of the many subjects addressed include: agronomics of cereal and forage production, basic fertility questions, soil and water management and conservation, alternative land uses, organic farming, and technology transfer. Got a question you'd like to see answered as a new Ag Note? Enter the question below, if it is not already addressed in an existing Ag Note, a new one will be developed. When you have finished choose the "Submit Question" button and watch for the "Thank you for your submission" confirmation.
