Vodun - Power Figures - Twins - West African Art
View Gallery
My niche in the world of tribal arts is selling authentic, antique West African and tribal art at affordable prices. While I specialize in Fon and Ewe vodun, power and twin figures, my selection includes a wide variety of wooden, iron and textile art objects from the Adangbe, Ashanti, Baule, Eket, Fanti, Ibibio, Ibo, Lobi, Moba, Mossi, Tchamba, Yoruba and other West African ethnic groups. Additionally, I sell occasional objects from other regions of the world as well as Africana and utilitarian pieces such as clothing, stools and chairs, hair dresser plaques, old paper currency and spoons.
Unlike some dealers of African art, I have lived in West Africa for over ten years. I make annual buying trips and have extensive supplier networks in the subregion. Please email me for additional photos of objects on display and on hand. I can also search for objects you seek. Since I have low overhead and buy large but finely made quantities, I sell at reasonable "wholesale" prices.
Quantity discounts given, special deals for repeat buyers, discounts for referrals and selling arrangements sought. Also interested in buying African and tribal art objects from collectors and collections.

African Tribal Art is considered amongst the finest creations in the art world. Today authentic art are highly sought after by collectors. Many of the pieces some replica's, can be viewed in museums and galleries all over the world. In Africa art is considered an integral part of everyday life, as a cross-cultural dialogue, personal therapy, and communication with the Gods and ancestors. African art have a great cultural and traditional significance, latest developments and understanding of aesthetic principles, religious and ceremonial values, have brought about a greater insight into the ideas and moral values that African artists express in their work. Over the years Africa developed into a continent with a fascinating mix of the modern world blended with an exhilarating age-old African twist. Each country has many exciting cultures that was prepared and brewed for more than more than 1000 years. The last few decades have seen a huge decline in tribal ceremonies and rituals hence authentic African Art is extremely difficult to find.
