Falk Amazon base price: Average review score: Very helpful book This book was recommended by a professor since the final grade was based upon a final paper. I wish I had this book since 1st year. Great for people who plan to "write on" to law review as well as write any kind of legal scholarly paper. Highly recommend this. "Why didn't we learn this in law school?!!" Anyone who survived the confusion of case-method during first semester law school and never learned anything useful until studying commercially available outlines the night before final exams knows the feeling of relief this book provides. SCHOLARLY WRITING FOR LAW STUDENTS is not a crutch for the lazy. It's an extremely well-organized and comprehensive guide to figuring out the precise steps required to produce quality scholarly legal writing.
I've never written an amazon.com review before but this book inspired me to do so. I've bought a copy of this book for every law student I know. I refer to this book at least once a week to assist in my own legal scholarship...

See my life, my passions, my compliants, my smart-ass comments, and my general strange view on everything from SF Giants baseball to sprawl in the suburbs. Check out Gabrielle's weblog at http://www.franksu.com/gabbie Baseball, baseball, and baseball..... Thursday, June 03, 2004 Ugh.... watching the Giants game again and we're losing again. I hate when this happens. You win 10 games in a row then you lose 3 in a row. We have 3 outs until its over and pretty tough to come back from that. Yikes. Or today, you score 4 runs in the first inning and still lose. I often wonder about sports. I can't control the freakin game but I always get emotional over whats happening. I have a tie to these players but I don't even know them at all. Guess its hard to follow a team and watch them play without getting emotionally tied. Funny. Maybe I should just be a Yankee fan and start rooting for them when the reach the playoffs. At least I could always root for a team in the playoffs.
