Eric Charles Twelves Wilson [1912- From 11 to 15 August 1940 at Observation Hill in Somaliland (now Somalia), Captain Eric Charles Twelves Wilson kept a machine-gun post in action in spite of being wounded and suffering from malaria. Some of his guns were blown to pieces by the enemy's field artillery fire. Eric Wilson personally held out to the end which he delayed for four Days. The award was cited posthumously in the London Gazette but three days later news was received that he had been taken prisoner, He was freed later when Eritrea was conquered and fought with the Long Range Desert Group. Born in 1912 son of Rev. Cyril Charles Clissold Wilson, Eric Charles Twelves Wilson of Long Crichel retired from the army in 1949 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and became a colonial administrator in Tanganika before retiring to a cottage at Stowell near Sherborne. • Anthony Parr's Three Renaissance Travel Plays ushers the Revels Plays Companion Library into brave new worlds, clearing fresh critical ground under a banner of wondrous textual detail and marvelous editorial control. As more and more attention is paid to the discursive complexities of Europe's foreign encounters, Parr's volume provides a timely and significant intervention in this field of Renaissance cultural studies, furnishing new plots and glasses through which such dramatic horizons might be surveyed. In short, Three Renaissance Travel Plays telescopes our perspectives into the strange novelties and generic limits that early modern travel set for the early modern theater.

Eric McLuhan Eric McLuhan is currently Associate Director of the McLuhan Program International. Dr. Eric McLuhan lectures throughout the world on communication theory and media. He collaborated with his father, the late Marshall McLuhan (1911-1980) on The Medium is the Message and War and Peace in the Global Village prior to publishing Laws of Media Videoclip Segment: Foreword Marshall McLuhan wrote the following Foreword in art critic Paul Duval's book on YORK WILSON: In the nuclear age abstract or non-objective art is plainly prophetic. On the phone or on the air the user of electric services has no physical body. We are discarnate people, figures in an instantaneous and invisible ground of energy and vibration. This resonant and acoustic ground is discontinuous and man-made, deeply involving and subjective yet minus any point of view or personal stress. The work of York Wilson is a notable manifestation of the new awareness of nuclear man, the shift from sight to insight. FROM THE WALK ORGANIZER
The weekend was a wonderful experience. The weather was perfect. The crowd was more than we expected, both at the beach and concert. Thank you to everyone who came early and volunteered your time to help make the Walk move smoothly. Your efforts really made a difference this year. I hope everyone enjoyed Billy Hinsche, Jeff Foskett, Mike Meros, Probyn Gregory, Michael Angeloff, Randell Kirsch, Michael Campion, and "Special Surprise" guest Peter Tork on the beach. The first Historical Bus Tour was very nice. Billy Hinsche, Jeff Foskett, and Ricci Martin were great hosts. Thank you to Tony Asher and Ron Swallow for taking time to tell us their stories at our stops. Thank you to Brian, Melinda, and their two daughters for inviting us to their home and offering us the very special "Wilson Lemonade." It was a nice surprise for everyone. Annie Wilson-Karges, Barbara Wilson, and Melinda Love were also very nice to join us for the ride. The Hamburger Hamlet had a wonderful lunch for us to enjoy too. The concert was amazing! In Bloom, Van Dyke Parks, Matthew Sweet, Carnie and Wendy Wilson, Sugar Ray, The Wondermints, Billy Hinsche, Carl B. Wilson, Justyn Wilson, Eric Clapton, and Brian Wilson and his band entertained us for over 3 hours! They all worked very hard and brought us a unique evening.

Bass (SAMPA: [beIs], rhyming with "face"), when used as an adjective, describes tones of low frequency. Played in an ensemble/orchestra such notes are frequently used to provide a counterpoint or counter-melody, in an harmonic context either to outline or juxtapose the progression of the chords, or with percussion to underline the rhythm. In popular music the bass part usually provides harmonic and rhythmic support, usually playing the root or fifth of the chord and stressing the onbeats.

Welcome to Eric Wilson Web Site
Eric Keith Wilson II My name is Eric Wilson, and I am 19 years old. When I was nine years old I was diagnose with Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer). It was decided that my right leg had to be amputated in order to save my life. After the surgery, I went through three and a half years of intense chemotherapy. I lost my hair four different times and also suffered from kidney stones, a very painful experience. Through this ordeal I have met many celebrities such as Dustin Hoffman, Barbara Mandrel, and Diamond, a German Shepard who held the First National Grand Champion Dog Show Title. Diamond also lost a leg to Osteosarcoma and was fitted with a prosthetic leg using parts from one I had outgrown.
Even though I was at one of the best Oncology Hospitals in California and the people helping me were "Great", I missed Blythe. I love the town of Blythe, California and the people, many of them helping my family and me through this battle which I have won. My mother is always telling me I am lucky and blessed to be here today.
