Express Writer Guy Vanderhaeghe was in Edmonton just days after his new novel, The Englishman's Boy, was nominated for a Governor General's Award for fiction. This follows on the heels of the book's nomination for the $10,000 Giller Prize. How ironic that a novel which questions the process of myth-making is being lionized by these two career-marking awards.
