Said CD was Huun Huur Tu's debut album, Sixty Horses In My Herd and, while the, erm, atmosphere was most conducive to having an out-of-body experience the music was simply out of this world. During subsequent playings of this CD, during which swordmasters armed with burning plants were nowhere near, it had the same effect on me. At gigs I perhaps once during a whole set feel a shiver down my spine and then I know something has profoundly moved me, but every time Kaigal-ool Khovalyg opened his mouth that shiver was there again. This was surely one of the world's most uniquely moving voices, right up there with Luciano Pavarotti and the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan . It was like being exposed to an electrical force. Since 1996 then I'd wanted to see Huun Huur Tu live yet managed somehow to miss their first London appearance earlier this year at The Purcell Room. Lo, miracles do happen, and they returned to the South Bank Centre, this time the Royal Festival Hall, a couple of months later. Neither hell nor high water could have kept me away and while the venue, nestled deep inside the most ugly building on the banks of the Thames, was not at all intimite, Kaigal-ool, Anatoly, new member Alexei and Sayan simply spellbound their audience.

La nueva y aclamada película mexicana Y tu mamá también habla de sexo de manera frontal, divertida y desenfadada. Pero más que el tema de la última realización de Alfonso Cuarón ( Grandes esperanzas La princesita ), las relaciones sexuales explícitas, los diálogos subidos de tono y el erotismo candente son sólo excusas para marcar un punto de quiebre, una transición. El sexo, o más bien ciertas situaciones particulares relacionadas con el sexo, será el inicio del camino hacia la madurez de dos adolescentes, Julio y Tenoch. Situado en la ciudad de México, de donde el director es oriundo aunque hace unos años reside y filma en los Estados Unidos, el cuarto largometraje de Cuarón (ayudado por el guión de su hermano Carlos) resulta un film íntimo, personal y bastante alejado de sus producciones anteriores. Julio (Gael García Bernal se luce como en Amores perros ) y Tenoch (Diego Luna) son dos jóvenes de 17 años que se dedican a hacer cosas de chicos de su edad: cogen con sus novias cada vez que pueden, fuman marihuana, salen a divertirse, se masturban a dúo, disfrutan de su posición social privilegiada (el segundo más que el primero) e intentan salir del aburrimiento y hacer algo con sus vidas. I kind of figured it was coming," Crews said in a phone interview from New York, where she has been fielding interview requests since Thursday's telecast. "I respected the decision they made. Somebody had to go, and I was OK if it was me." Since returning from the South Pacific island where Survivor: Marquesas (8 p.m. Thursdays, CBS)was filmed last fall, Crews has had to keep silent about when, and if, she was voted off in the elimination contest in which 16 contestants vie for a $1 million grand prize. Crews, who majored in wildlife ecology and conservation at UF, said it wasn't too hard to keep the secret from friends and family, including her father, Tim, who lives in Macclenny. "The main reason is I wanted them to experience it just as I did."

But the real story around this trip is the coming of age and learning about life, experiencing social and cultural clashes, learning about sex, and living out your dreams. For American audiences, this film will be a shock to many due to the frankness of the sex scenes, nudity, and sexual talk which permeates the entire film. Especially due to the young ages of the actors. But all of this is real and necessary to the story, not like the dumb gratuitous sex scenes which seem to be shown in most Hollywood films. The two main characters are teenage boys making their plans for college, so their infatuation with sex is real and natural. Another aspect of this film which makes it very interesting is how the director shows the clash of cultures which exist in Mexico. We see two young middle class teenagers living the good life and then all of a sudden the camera takes us to the kitchen of the restaurant they are eating in and we see an entire family making the food to make ends meet.
