1. Bob Stanton
Bob Stanton (1940 ) was born in Fort Worth, Texas, in Mosier Valley, oneof the oldest communities in Texas founded by African Americans.
Bob Stanton was born in Fort Worth, Texas, in Mosier Valley, one of the oldest communities in Texas founded by African Americans. After graduating with a BS from Huston – Tillotson College in 1963, he was hired by the college as its director of public relations. In 1962, Secretary of the Interior, Stewart Udall, sent representatives to Huston - Tillotson, which was a small privately endowed, church related, historically Black college in Austin, Texas, to encourage young Black students to look beyond traditional careers and consider the National Park Service (NPS) as a place of opportunity. The mental picture that the Interior representatives painted that day at Huston – Tillotson College of the vast and magnificent visas of the western parks touched a responsive chord with Robert G. Stanton who was sitting in the audience. He had never visited a national park, but it stimulated him to become a park ranger in Grand Teton National Park in the summers of 1962 and 1963 while in college, and finally to join the NPS in a full-time position in 1966 as a personnel management and public information specialist in the Washington D.C. office. He rose through the ranks and in 1997 he was sworn in as the fifteenth director of the NPS, and its first African American head. He served in that position until his retirement in 2001. It was a popular appointment with conservationists, reflecting their respect for his credentials. For example the National Parks and Conservation Association commented "Bob has the depth of first-hand knowledge of park issues that can come only from a long career with the Park Service. We are glad to see that the President chose an NPS leader from among the service’s ranks. We are glad to see that the political gamesmanship that can paralyze Washington did not get in the way of a swift nomination."

Bob Stanton
Bob Stanton got into writing in his early 20s by falling in love with the writing of other writers: poets, fiction writers, playwrights, essay writers, even speech writers. He claims his first serious writing attempts were those of a poet; and although he no longer writes poetry daily, he writes it when he can, especially if he's reading the works of other contemporary poets.
"So, I was in love when I began to write poetry and I write it now when overswept with love for another's work," Bob says. He began writing fiction in his 40s and selects subjects from his interest in people and ideas.
"I especially like to deal with people and ideas on the edge: Gore Vidal, Truman Capote, serial killers, possessed witches, outsiders and outlaws everywhere, and I am absolutely thrilled by femme fatales!" Like many writers, he creates "voices" for his characters, their narrations of internal monologues, as well as dialogues of every kind. The first novel he wrote, a parody of (Ronald) Reagan as President of the USA, is dialogue from beginning to end. And his latest work, DEVIL'S ROOD,

December 1997
By Stanton Friedman
Incredible claims have been made about Bob Lazar for years. He supposedly is a physicist with an MS in Physics from MIT and an MS in Electronics from the California Institute of Technology. He was a "Scientist" for Los Alamos National Laboratory, and obtained a job back-engineering UFOs at a very secret site at Area 51 in Nevadathrough Dr. Edward Teller.
Supposedly he figured out how saucers work using Element 115 matter/anti-matter, etc. He was able to steal a small quantity of 115 from the 500 pounds available, but this was stolen back. He came forward with his story despite death threats because he thought the public has a right to know. Videotapes are available with his claims. It is all BUNK.
