    Welcome
    to the Liaden Universe
The Liaden Universe created by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller now numbers eight novels seven published, one coming in February 2004 and a double handful of short stories. Two more Liaden novels are under contract and if all goes well in the world will appear in a bookstore near you in February 2005 and 2006. The most recent book from Lee and Miller is The Tomorrow Log , the start of a new series, not necessarily in the Liaden Universe, and not necessarily not in it, either. Lee and Miller's unique brand of adventurous romantic space opera has won attention from both science fiction and romance readers. Liaden Universe novels Scout's Progress and Local Custom took first and second place in the coveted Prism Awards for best futuristic romance of 2002, while Pilots Choice I Dare , and The Tomorrow Log have all placed on the Locus Magazine Bestseller lists.
"I have always loved the Liaden series and think it deserves
to take its rightful place among the worldbuilding triumphs of SF literature.

I wish to make it clear that this is my personal Abenaki Native American Indian page, not an official Abenaki Native American Indian Home page.
Unfortunately, we are not officially recognized as a tribe by the United States - in fact the United States lists us as extinct. But, I don't feel extinct, so I have made this site in an effort to educate people about my ancestors and as a means of assisting other to trace their Indian ancestral roots, and learn of our ancestor's heritage. Many people e-mail me asking me how to do genealogical research so as to find their Native Aboriginal ancestors. In the past I have attempted to answer these e-mails individually, but have realized that I normally give almost exactly the same response to everyone. Thus, I now have a Genealogical Page which should answer most of your questions about how to research your ancestoral roots. The Aln8bak News from the Cowasuck Band - Abenaki/Pennacook People has been updated to include the entire 1998 collection. The Cowasuck Band of Abenaki/Pennacook People is an excellent source of information regarding Abenaki related events in the entire New England area. You can find their e-mail address when you go to the Aln8bak News page. While much of this site is devoted to Abenaki related links, the

Home Christian Action Photo Gallery Archive ... School Link Exchange Welcome to my website! Hi. My name is Steve Miller, and welcome to my website. This site is the home to my photo gallery, Christian Action website, as well as any other internet-related work that I do. The content bar is located to the left of this page - you can navigate to all sections of my website from there. Enjoy your stay. - I haven't been able to do much with the site in the last few weeks. Maybe I will in the next few weeks. I did upload a copy of my Design Team's final report to the School section, and I add new Links whenever I find cool stuff.. Go check it out. I need to make a script to handle content on my site (e.g. updating this front page and making an archive of old posts). Also I'd like to put a sort of guestbook/message board on here. That will take a while because I'd like to make it myself and I don't know exactly what I want right now. If you have any ideas feel free to email me. - Hey all. If you want to see an amazing movie, you must go to see Kill Bill vol. 1. Go and rent it right now. Then go to the theaters and see Kill Bill vol. 2. You will be amazed. Welcome to a collection of pages that are devoted to things I enjoy and to the people who have enjoyed the things I've written over the years.
If you're here by accident, allow me to introduce myself. I am a writer of roleplaying game material and sci-fi and fantasy fiction. Most of my work has been published through TSR and Wizards of the Coast, and I am best known for contributions to the 'Ravenloft' and 'Dragonlance' properties. I have, however, done work for just about all the top roleplaying game publishers.
Please feel free to poke around the pages here. Hopefully, you'll find something to amuse you! (By the way, the drawing to the right is by John Mangrum, friend and collaborator. I think he captured the inner me.) Steve's Randomly Selected Thoughts of the Week Guest thought of the week, by Lou Dobbs of CNN: The government and media for the past nine months have called this a war against terror. So have we here. But terror is not the enemy. It is what the enemy wants to achieve. So on this broadcast, we are making a change... in the interests of clarity and honesty. The enemies in this war are radical Islamists who argue all non-believers in their faith must be killed. They are called Islamists. That's why we are abandoning the phrase, "War Against Terror". Let us be clear. This is not a war against Muslims or Islam. It is a war against Islamists and all who support them. If ever there were a time for clarity, it is now. We hope our new policy is a step in that direction.

Related Links By Leonard Herman, Jer Horwitz, Steve Kent, and Skyler Miller In 1949, a young engineer named Ralph Baer was given an assignment to build a television set. He wasn't supposed to build just any television set, but one that would be the absolute best of all televisions. This was not a problem for Baer, but he wanted to go beyond his original assignment and incorporate some kind of game into the set. He didn't know exactly what kind of game he had in mind, but it didn't really matter because his managers nixed the idea. It would take another 18 years for his idea to become a reality, and by that time there would be other people to share in the glory, like Willy Higinbotham, who designed an interactive tennis game played on an oscilloscope, and Steve Russell, who programmed a rudimentary space game on a DEC PDP-1 mainframe computer. And then there was also Nolan Bushnell, who played that space game and dreamed of a time when fairground midways would be filled with games powered by computers.
