Quite the contrary - he received letters from Scotsmen the world over lauding his work. I find it difficult to believe that so many can have had such poor taste, and can only assume that they were taking the mick!! Am I wrong? To help you decide I reproduce below one of his finest (!!) pieces, and if like me you have trouble reading through the tears of laughter by the time you reach the end, then I rest my case. If more evidence is required I am happy to provide it. As always the little pics get bigger in a click. The guests arrive..... John turns up on his brand new Aprilia fitted with more trick bits than you could shake a titanium exhaust at. .......
