Livius Andronicus
Word: Word Starts with Ends with Definition In classical history, Lucius Livius Andronicus was a Greek colonist who was captured by the Romans at Tarentum Taranto is a city in southern Italy. It is the capital of Taranto province, and is also a port, and is located on the Gulf of Taranto, in Apulia region. It is about midway down the western coast of the peninsula that forms Italy`s heel. According to the 2001 census, it has population of 201,349. Taranto is also a very important naval base, and it has well-developed steel and iron foundries, chemical works, some shipyards for building warships, and food-processing factories.

Livius Andronicus Livius Andronicus , * ca. 284 v. Chr., + ca. 204 v. Chr. Das Unheil wurde abgewendet und man dankte dem Dichter, indem man dem Minervatempel auf dem Aventin nun auch den Schreibern und Schauspielern als Versammlungs- und Kultort zuwies. Vermutlich starb er wenige Jahre nach 207 v. Chr. Werke: Odusia Dieses Werk war bis zum Ende der Republik ein Standardwerk in der Schule. Die erste Zeile dieses Werkes lautet: den Mann nenne mir, Muse, den Verschlagenen. mit trojanischen Stoffen oder Frauen als Hauptfiguren, und eben jenes s. o. (207 v. Chr.). Alle Werke des Livius Andronicus sind uns nur fragmentarisch erhalten. und die Differenzierung der Sprachebenen zwischen Epos und Drama. In classical history, Lucius Livius Andronicus was a Greek colonist who was captured by the Romans at Tarentum on the southern coast of Italy . He was made a slave to a Livian noble. Later freed, he taught and produced for the uncultured Romans their first formal play in 240 BC . Only framents of his works survive.
