Just buy it. Milton Okun's collection has long been the benchmark in Sixties music compilations. Nearly every important song and songwriter is featured. The arrangements are easy to play, without being the stripped-down versions found in "easy piano" and "easy guitar" collections. The introduction offers excellent insight into the social and political upheaval that made the music of the Sixties more than just entertainment. If you play guitar or piano and want to learn (or relearn) the music of our most fascinating recent decade, this book will enthrall and delight you. Best arrangements for piano and vocals of the sixties.

Song: Poems (American Poets Continuum Series, V. 30) > Customer Review #1: Great Collection

A friend of mine turned me on to Kelly and I am happy she did. This stuff is so vivid, so colorful and full of haunting images. True delight.
Song: Poems (American Poets Continuum Series, V. 30) > Customer Review #2: beautiful and painful Brigit Kellys title poem is, truly, the best poem I have ever read. It is so filled with suffering and sweetness, interwoven, I could hardly stand it; it blew my mind. The entire book is wonderful. Kellys poems radiate intelligence and bare-bones honesty. She dives into the pain and truth and loveliness of life and takes you along with her, but even with all the intensity in her writing, she leaves you feeling somehow safe in the world. If you can find her first book somewhere (its out of print) find it, too. It also cuts to the quick. Please, Brigit, give us another book!

The three year program is small and flexible to ensure personal attention, allowing writers to design study plans to their specific needs. Workshops and classes are completed in the first two years; the third year is dedicated to work on the thesisa novel or a book-length collection of poetry or fictionthrough individual tutorials with a writer chosen from the M.F.A. faculty. Teaching assistantships can include composition and creative writing, and program members staff Sycamore Review , an award-winning national journal. Accomplishments of program graduates include
