Humanity faces a crisis of law and conscience that few can recognize, still fewer will acknowledge, and none will remedy a crisis that jeopardizes the very future of human civilization. The essential concepts of human rights and human dignity are under assault as never before. Corruption and discrimination abound. Standards are slipping. The media wallow in denial and the people revel in insouciance. Compassion and decency are fast disappearing from the human behavioral repertoire. Victims of gross defamation and governmental cruelty become "non-persons" anathematized, ridiculed, rejected, suspected. Too often, the aggrieved enjoy no recourse, the persecuted find no refuge, the abused and degraded are denied all hope of escape or rescue. The system is broken not just the law enforcement system, but the advocacy system as well. Governments absurdly rationalize their own crimes and deny the equal protection of their laws. Advocates and non-governmental organizations corruptly abdicate their responsibility. In treachery or in trepidation, they discriminate against certain persons, refuse to acknowledge certain issues, and refuse to confront certain oppressors. They make exceptions. They make excuses. They consult an invisible rule book that tells them how far they may go, what and whom to ignore. To a great extent, Armageddon is within. It is a struggle for the liberty and integrity of the human mind, for the preservation of human dignity, for the very meaning of human existence, for the restoration of the Rule of Law, for the very continuance of civilization in any acceptable form.

10. Searching For Mars Family Connections
Decendants of james henry Mars and Aubey Ankie Cox Jones who migrated from NC to Tuscaloosa, AL to Kemper County, MS, with documentation and records.
http://us.geocities.com/princessgrayson/
This homepage is dedicated to finding the descendants of James Henry Mars, Sr. and his wife Aubey "Ankie" Cox Jones. Background Information James Henry Mars, Sr. and Aubey "Ankie" Cox Jones were believed to be part of a wagon train of settlers migrating from North Carolina to the lower South. Stopping first to live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, James and Ankie eventually made Kemper Co., Mississippi their final home. They and a few of their children are buried in the cemetery of Spring Hill Methodist Church, a tiny church which is still standing today.
Running Into a Brick Wall I do not know any information beyond James Mars and Ankie Jones. I assume (probably incorrectly) that Robert would be James's father's name since the first son was named Robert. I am afraid too that I will never find Ankie's parents since "Jones" is such a common last name.
My Objective Searching for Mars descendants has proven to be quite a challenge. I roughly have 1,974 names after about 3 years of research. I would still like to hear from anyone who can contribute anything to my search... wills, Bible records, census listings, birth and death dates, cemetery sites, old photographs... I use them all. With the information I acquire, I plan on compiling a non-profit Mars family book and donating a copy to the Kemper Co., MS; the Neshoba Co., MS; and the Tuscaloosa Co., AL libraries. That way future generations will have this history compiled and safely stored for them. I would like to thank the people who have contacted me so far. With your help, I have been able to expand my search. Thanks!

About the Author
American-born writer, gifted with talents in literature, psychology, and philosophy. James wrote 20 novels, 112 stories, 12 plays and a number of literary criticism. His models were Dickens, Balzac, and Hawthorne. James once said that he learned more of the craft of writing from Balzac "than from anyone else". "A novel is in its broadest sense a personal, a direct impression of life: that, to begin with, constitutes its value, which is greater or less according to the intensity of the impression." (from The Art of Fiction Henry James was born in New York City into a wealthy family. His father, Henry James Sr, was one of the best-known intellectuals in mid-nineteenth-century America, whose friends included Thoreau, Emerson and Hawthorne. James made little money from his novels. Once his friend, the writer Edith Wharton, secretly arranged him a royal advance of $8,000 for The Ivory Tower (1917), but the money actually came from Wharton's royalty account with the publisher. When Wharton sent him a letter bemoaning her unhappy marriage, James replied: "Keep making the movements of life."

    The ‘Blacklisting Stupid People Policy’
I will silence all of the half wits
    By Sir Peter Maxwell
Posted Sunday, May 23, 2004 on Sir Peter James Henry Maxwell IV
Discussion: Blogging In my article announcing the latest Sir Peter Maxwell Show I left a footnote, which mentioned my new policy of blacklisting anyone who I deem to be not worthy of conversing with the great Sir Peter Maxwell. The point of this article is to explain the reasons, which prompted this policy to be implemented.
When I first started to write here I quickly noticed that many of the people leaving comments had not even bothered to read the article but for some reason thought that I was obliged to read their idiot comments or pathetic attempts at matching my wit.
At first I let is pass but after a while these type of fools started to degrade my almost biblical articles into an insult contest, which I always win of course but it does become tiresome after a while.
Another type of idiot that I encounter is the type of person who feels inferior when in the presence of a man such as myself so they claim a noble or royal lineage in the hope it will make me respect them. On Joeuser alone I have had no less than five people claim to be related to people ranging from Queen Elizabeth to Andrew Carnegie. The girl who claimed to be related to Andrew Carnegie spelt her glorious family name as "Carnegy"; this gives you a perfect example of the kind of idiot that will be silenced from now on.

    THE PERSIAN EXPEDITION BIBLIOGRAPHY
    INTRODUCTION
During the winter of 1930-31, the Oriental Institute organized a Persian Expedition to conduct excavations in the largely unexplored mountainous regions east and southeast of the Mesopotamian plain. James Henry Breasted requested, and was granted, a concession to excavate the remains of Persepolis, an Achaemenid royal administrative center in the province of Fars. Thanks to an anonymous benefactress, work started the same year under the direction of Ernst Herzfeld, Professor of Oriental Archaeology at the University of Berlin. Herzfeld served as director of the Persian Expedition until the end of 1934, when he was succeeded by Erich Schmidt, who continued to excavate in the region until 1939. Over an eight-year period, the Persian Expedition worked not only in the royal center of Persepolis, but also at a number of sites that fell within a radius of 10 km. - the two prehistoric mounds of Tall-i Bakun, an Achaemenid tower and tombs of the Achaemenid kings at Naqsh-i Rustam, and portions of the Sasanian/Islamic city of Istakhr. In addition, Erich Schmidt led two air-reconnaissance and ground expeditions into the mountains of Luristan in 1935-36 and 1937.
