But the close game did not pass without some controversy, as both Calgary's rough play and the officiating became issues. The Lightning were given a questionable two-man advantage early in the match that led to the lone goal, and Calgary's Ville Nieminen was whistled for a five-minute boarding penalty when he slammed Tampa's Vincent Lecavalier into the glass late in the third period. Nieminen was handed a one-game suspension and will miss this evening's contest, something that drew the ire of Flames head coach Darryl Sutter. "We know what we're up against. We're the underdog.
