A wonderful mother, travelling companion, family historian and friend, died peacefully, during her afternoon nap, on Thursday, January 22, 2004. Norah was born in Owen Sound in 1911 and spent part of her early childhood in England where her father was stationed during World War I. Following her father's death shortly after the war, her mother moved Norah and her brothers, the late Alfred and Dick MALONE to Toronto where Norah attended school and then worked in the Bank of Montreal. Shoots: Right Ray worked his way through the Boston junior and minor leagues before finally getting his chance in the 53-54 season. The rugged blueliner suffered a broken cheekbone in December of 1953, and missed the rest of the season. He made it back to the NHL for one game with Toronto, before retiring after the 55-56 season.

He retired after the 1957-58 season before coming back to play parts of three season in the OHA Senior League from 1966-67 thru 1968-69. He went on to coach in the OHA Senior League. HORNET HAPPENINGS:

    Yes, globalism is a real problem in some ways, but the neo-Marxists of our country want to exchange business producing what people want to purchase for the tyranny of the inefficient state subject to the whims of populist politicians. With the available variety of products and producers, you get to vote with your wallet. Unfortunately, with the courts and politicians monkeying with the Constitution, we are less and less able to vote scoundrels out.
