The club also unveiled a new look for the upcoming season at a press conference held at the Master’s Glen Luxury Apartments Clubhouse. Saal, 29, will return for his second stint with the team after posting a 20-12-4 record in 37 appearances this past season. His .925 save percentage marked a new career high for the Detroit, MI native, while his 2.56GAA was close to his career-best set in 2001-02 of 2.42 with Arkansas of the ECHL. Saal tied for the league lead in shutouts for 2003-04 with five, and sits third all time in that category in the ECHL with 17, trailing only Marc Magliarditi (20) and Daniel Berthiaume (18).
