My Krush is better than Your Krush
Paul Hodges has posted seven photos of Krush taken at the US Amateur Team East on his smartchess.com website at http://www.smartchess.com/SmartChessOnline/default.htm However, I have only one photo of Krush from the same tournament. So, I guess that means that his website is seven times better than mine.

Rusudan Goletiani, World Under-18 Chess Champion for Girls
When Rusudan Goletiani arrived in New York City on a direct flight from her Republic of Georgia on Friday May 12, she was unknown in America, in spite of having won the World Chess Championship for Girls Under 14, the World Chess Championship for Girls Under 16, and the World Chess Championship for Girls Under 18 in successive years. UPDATE: On the Official FIDE website, Rusudan Goletiani is listed as qualified to play for the Woman's World Championship . See Zone 1.5
Rusudan Goletiani
Hopefully, this will change soon. Born on 8 September 1980, in Sukhumi, Abkhazia, Georgia and rated 2325, she is now the number 12 player in the world on the official just released FIDE top-20 girls list. She has traveled extensively and has won three world chess championships. In 1994, she won the World Championship for Girls Under-14 in Hungary. In 1995, she won the World Championship for Girls Under-16 in Brazil. In 1997, she won the World Championship for Girls Under-18 In Yerevan, Armenia. Perhaps even more impressively, she won the Soviet Junior Championship for Girls Under-12 in 1990 when she was only nine years old!

Reuters, Yahoo, world wide media now hot on the story, fraud charged. Jude Acers/ChessLab believes that Kasparov's victory was richly earned he hung in the there grimly, kept the game alive period. The World's move 58...Qe4 suggested by E. Bacrot was listed as losing in all variations given on October 10-th by FIDE champion Khalifman and Grandmaster Chess School. It appeared full one week before the World was led astray by French grandmaster and national champion E. Bacrot. Bacrot's suggestion lost outright immediately at 2:04 AM EST Friday October 15, 1999. October 20, 1999 http://www.gmchess.spb.ru/english/kasworld/sici119.html "GM Chess School gives NO recommendations to the world, as our opinion is that after 58...Qe4 59.Qg1+ White wins in all lines. A pity. the World did not follow our recommendations and did not manage to find a path to the draw in the jungle of lines after the 58th move. Almost 45% of the team members considered the recommendations of GM School (58...Qf5) but the majority has chosen 58...Qe4. One could say-what's the difference where to move the queen to f5 or e4? Unfortunately there is the difference and it is a substantial difference. The correct 58...Qf5 ! could have resulted in a complicated game where a draw was the most probable result, and the "natural" 58...Qe4 (according to MS Zone expert Bacrot) is a final and complete disaster for Black."

A Brooklyn Teenager Plays Powerfully but Falls Short New York Times, November 14, 1999 Fifteen-year-old Irina Krush, from Brooklyn by way of Russia, is probably the strongest young woman ever in American chess. Though she demonstrated great power in the Girls Under 21 World Championship Tournament in Yerevan, Armenia, which ended on Sept. 30, she failed to push through to victory. She equalled the tally of the winner, Maria Kouvatsou of Greece, with 8.5 points out of 13 rounds, but the tiebreak coefficients calculated afterward relegated her to fourth place. In her game with Graciela Redondo Arguelles of Spain, Krush parlayed strong positional play into a decisive mating attack. Irina Krush attends Edward R. Kasparov vs. the World 22 October THINGS GET UGLY This was supposed to be the greatest battle in the history of chess: World number one, Garry Kasparov, taking on all comers in an online competition at Microsoft's Gaming Zone. Instead, it has turned into a virtual mudslinging contest. A little background: The match started June 21, with Kasparov playing the white pieces and the World Team, coached by teen chess stars Etienne Bacrot (16), Florian Felecan (19), Irina Krush (15) and Elisabeth Pähtz (14), playing black. The time control is one move a day, giving each side 24 hours to ponder their decision. The World Team's move is decided by registered members casting their votes, and the move receiving the majority vote is subsequently played. Simple enough, wouldn't you think? Not by a long shot! OK, things were running along smoothly for quite a while. The World actually giving Kasparov a run for his money, as Irina Krush, who seemed to be the only one taking this coaching business seriously, managed to get her moves elected 95% of the time. Krush spent several hours every day analysing the game, and her analysis and arguments were most convincing. At move 50, Kasparov had an obvious advantage in a rather messy Queen-ending, but most experts seemed to think black might hold with accurate play. And that's when the fun started:
