After all the excitement and emotion of this day, I'm ready to sit home and watch the rest of these Phillies games on TV. So much new. So much awe. So many people. So much climbing and walking and waiting, shivering and trying to keep dry. So much looking back and looking forward. Citizens Bank Park is officially open, and I'm officially beat. My day began on Ashburn Alley, around 11 a.m., yesterday just as the red-and-white hordes started spilling through the gates to get their first look at the $458 million future of Philadelphia baseball. They trekked past the rubble of days past, the pit of concrete and steel that used to be Veterans Stadium. That was then.
