Extractions: Full Review Plot Details: This opinion reveals everything about the movie's plot. Books and other printed material aren't always the sources of movies. Sometimes, people get it in their heads to adapt albums to the big screen. Certain albums, such as "Tommy," "Quadrophenia," and "The Wall," tell stories on their albums, and are natural subjects for screen treatment. Other albums, such as "Purple Rain" and "True Stories," incorporate story and song in a coherent and entertaining fashion. The directorial career of Schultz, who had made films like "Cooley High" and "Car Wash," was never the same after "Sgt. Pepper" failed both critically and financially. He still directed on the big screen, but most of his work since 1978 has been done for television. However, Schultz fared better than Steinberg, whose noted entertainment career began and ended here, or Farina, who recorded one album in 1979 and never again appeared in a movie. The Bee Gees and Frampton still had some hits, but they were soon artists on the decline and out of prominence. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" is Hollywood excess in a worst-case scenario. Not only does love take a hit here, but so so the songs of the Beatles. This film, to paraphrase one of the songs from the original album, is a splendid time guaranteed for nobody.

So I will not bother too much with writing it down very detailed. It just kicks off with grandpa and grandma Addams having some sort of disease that is turning them into, well, us, the normal humans. Hopefully one of the family members knows a cure, so a family reunion is organized, hence the title. But, alas, a printing error. Addams is written with one d, as in Adams. So the family arrives at the wrong reunion. Most of the Addams family do not notice it and this leads to much confusion in the Adams family. Are you still with me? Gomez and Morticia are trying to find a cure, Lurch falls in love and Wednesday and Pugsley are making new friends. And a couple going to the Adams family reunion end up at the mansion where as we all know safety isnt a big theme. This Addams Family movie has not been directed by Barry Sonnenfeld like the previous two. Dave Payne took on the job and changed the whole cast (except for Lurch, because where else can you find another one). I usually like Tim Curry but he didnt make the movie better or as good as the previous two. Yes, it was entertainable, but much lighter and a lot less of the dry, non-slapstick humor that made the other two so good.

Extractions: Após destruir um asteróide no campo Pelloris, a Enterprise ruma para o sistema Moselina sem saber que uma nuvem de estranhas partículas se prendeu ao casco da nave. Ao longo da viagem, a mãe de Deanna Troi, Lwaxana, se transporta a bordo com um anúncio incomum ela planeja se casar na Enterprise, com um homem que nem sequer conhece ainda. Deanna acha as notícias perturbadoras, mas Lwaxana ri de sua preocupação. A conselheira, paralelamente, tem trabalhado com Worf e seu filho Alexander, que andaram discutindo recentemente por causa da desobediência do menino. Em uma das sessões de aconselhamento, Lwaxana conhece Alexander, por quem acaba se apegando. Ela o convence a não cumprir seu compromisso com Deanna e em vez disso acompanhá-la até o holodeck. Lá, ela o leva para uma visita a uma colônia de artistas, poetas e livres pensadores, onde eles tomam um banho de lama.
