The initial reaction from the public was one of confusionas in "they made a T.V. show based on the Jason movies? But as it turned out, the series had nothing to do with its namesake. Instead, it had a much better premise... two cousins inherit an antique store from a distant uncle they've never met, little realizing that all the antiques were cursed by the devil to basically do the same thing... grant the owner's ultimate wish. Only one catch, thoughyou have to kill somebody first. Not everybody has seen this show, but you'll definitely remember it if you have. More specifically, if you were a teenage guy in the late 80's like I was, you'll remember the gorgeous female star of the showa red-haired beauty who went by the name of Robey.

I can feel an angel sliding up to me," she sings in a vibrant voice. "Pretty weird song," she concludes. During her own similarly strange and eventual life, she sang that cover of an original song from the rock opera, Chess. Her 1985 cover version climbed into the top 10 on Billboard Magazine's dance charts while hitting No. 1 in Latin America and Europe.
