A.B. Won Pat GIAA V. Moylan, 2004 Guam 1 IN THE SUPREME COURT OF GUAM. AB WON pat GUAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AUTHORITY, by and through its BOARD OF DIRECTORS PetitionerAppellee,. v. http://quasar.powweb.com/~teamsupreme/op2004Guam01.htm
Extractions: Hagatna, Guam 96910 BEFORE: FRANCES M. TYDINGCO-GATEWOOD, Chief Justice (Acting) ; RICHARD H. BENSON, Justice Pro Tempore ; JOHN A. MANGLONA, Justice Pro Tempore PER CURIAM: The Respondent-Appellant, the Attorney General ("AG") Douglas B. Moylan, appeals a Superior Court order granting a petition for peremptory writ of mandate. The Petitioner-Appellee, A. B. Won Pat Guam International Airport Authority's ("GIAA"), filed a motion to dismiss the instant case for lack of jurisdiction. We find that Rule 58 of the Guam Rules of Civil Procedure, which requires the entry of a final judgment in civil cases, applies in special proceedings in the Superior Court seeking writs of mandamus. We further find that the entry of a final judgment in a writ of mandate proceeding is a prerequisite to this court's exercise of appellate jurisdiction over decisions made in such proceedings. Because the lower court has not entered a final judgment in the instant case, we lack jurisdiction over this appeal. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed without prejudice.

Pat Tillman Remembered In Hometown Tuesday, May 4, 2004 pat Tillman remembered in hometown . , the letter said. pat s journey, that s the American dream and he sacrificed that. http://bengals.enquirer.com/2004/05/04/ben2a.html
Extractions: The Associated Press SAN JOSE, Calif. - Before Pat Tillman was hailed as a national hero for leaving the NFL to fight and die in the mountains of Afghanistan, he was a local high school football star with a bright life ahead of him. Friends, family and others gathered Monday to mourn Tillman in his hometown - to remember a man so moved by the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks that he walked away from a multimillion-dollar contract with the Arizona Cardinals to join the Army. "While many of us will be blessed to live a longer life, few of us will ever live a better one," said Sen. John McCain. R-Ariz., who spent 5 1/2 years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. "He was a most honorable man." Tillman, 27, died April 22 in a firefight near the Pakistan border as he was leading his team to help comrades caught in an ambush. The Army gave few details of how Tillman was killed, but said he was fatally shot while fighting "without regard for his personal safety." NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue and Hall of Famer Gene Upshaw, executive director of the players' union, were among those who attended Monday's public memorial at a municipal rose garden. Police said 2,000 people had gathered before the ceremony began.

Hypnosis In Media: Pat Collins (People) Hypnosis in Media pat Collins (People). pat learned hypnosis after she had been cured by a psychiatrist of a case of hysterical paralysis through hypnosis. http://www.hypnosisinmedia.com/People/PatCollins/
Extractions: No one did more to popularize hypnosis in general and stage hypnosis in particular in the 60's than the popular Pat Collins, the "Hip" Hypnotist. She made frequent appearances in TV series, talk shows, game shows, and movies in the 60's, then did a series of specials for the Showtime cable channel in the 70's and 80's, as well as having a nightclub of her own on the famous Los Angeles Sunset Strip. Pat learned hypnosis after she had been cured by a psychiatrist of a case of hysterical paralysis through hypnosis. Her teacher was stage hypnotist Trione Boyer (real name Ted Boyer), who was performing at the Club Cairo on North Sheridan in Chicago. Pat got herself an agent and started working clubs in the Midwest, then made the jump to Los Angeles. Her agent made a deal with the owners of The Interlude, a nightclub on the famed Sunset Strip in LA. She was the first female stage hypnotist in town, which added to her appeal, but her talent, skill and personality added equally to that appeal. She appeared on many TV programs over the years, mostly situation comedies, where hypnosis was always part of the comedy in that episode.
Extractions: Pat checks the time while hosting a promotion for KROY, Sacramento, 1987. Pat Riley (Ron Metzger) grew up in Toledo, Ohio, where he did his homework with WOHO playing in the background. Pat writes: Then along came WTOD My friends would come over and shoot pool, and we would listen to Bob Kelly Bob Marks and old John Gary . "Mr. Music" Bob Parkinson was in town, and frequently, we would go the station and look in the window and watch him do his show. One Saturday, he let us in the studio. I was hooked. Soon CKLW boomed into Toledo from Windsor and I knew someday I had to be a jock. In 1969, I made it, with my radio job at KJLH Long Beach, California. Next was KMUZ Santa Barbara, KQIQ Santa Paula, and KACY Ventura. Then, it was on to KISN in Portland, WMYQ in Miami, CHUM in Toronto, KZZY KXOK , and WIBC in Indianapolis. My finale was mornings for the last stand of KROY (FM) in Sacramento (CA).
Extractions: Washington, DC - Planned Parenthood reportedly called local police to stave off a bunch of young people who wanted to pray and offer counseling outside its abortion clinic on Massachusetts Avenue. The group of students sponsored by Crossroads Pro-life Inc. have spent the summer walking across the country spreading the message that they could have been aborted because they were born after 1973. Ban Huiya, Thailand - In what must be one of the silliest ideas for an antiprostitution campaign ever, thirteen young American women are visiting a remote hill tribe village to build self-esteem by... playing basketball. They are on the basketball team, in fact, at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. "It's an eye-opener to meet people from such a different culture," gushed Cassie Glasrud, 21, "...I don't speak their language but I can use basketball as a bridge to link us. Sport is universal and especially when we are female, we are connected." Awareness of the economic factors that drive the sex industry in southeast Asia is, shall we say, on the bench here?
