Kosugi wygra³ w tym czasie du¿¹ iloœæ turniejów i zagra³ swoje pierwsze role filmowe, które jednak nie przynios³y mu ¿adnych korzyœci finansowych. Pierwszym wa¿nym filmem w karierze Sho by³o "Dance of Death", póŸniej przemianowane na "Enter the Ninja". Kosugi mia³ graæ jedynie rolê statysty, jednego z wojowników ninja. Jednak producent szybko dostrzeg³ jego umiejêtnoœci i ostatecznie Sho zagra³ rolê najgroŸniejszego przeciwnika pozytywnego bohatera. W nastêpnym filmie: "Revenge of the Ninja" z 1983r. Sho by³ ju¿ g³ówn¹ postaci¹ ( zagrali tu nawet dwaj jego synowie ). Film odniós³ olbrzymi sukces i Kosugi zosta³ szybko okrzykniêty now¹ gwiazd¹ kina akcji. W ci¹gu nastêpnych kilku lat nakrêci³ on ca³¹ seriê filmów o przygodach wojowników ninja. W 1987 nakrêci³ "Czarnego or³a", w którym jego przeciwnikiem by³ J-C. Van Damme.

    Extractions: Mr.Kim's Review there is no need to review this movie because it was directed by sam firstenberg. that pretty much sums up what you need to know about this movie. when i found out it was directed by sam firstenberg, my first thought was that he must be some sort of martial artists or some action choreographer extraordinarre cause he's done so many "ninja" movies, but no!! not at all. he's just some schlep who got his foot into hollywood and found a way to stay there. and for that i have to give him credit. but what i can't give him credit for is ever directing a movie that is worth watching. incase you doubt me, here is a sample list of movies that he's directed and you tell me if he should lose his union card and be forced to stop directing or being involved with movies on any level.
