Extractions: IT 1974 di Mario Bava con Riccardo Cucciolla, Maurice Poli, George Eastman (Luigi Montefiori), Don Backy (Aldo Caponi), Lea Leander (Lea Kruger). ° Tre balordi Dottore, Trentadue e Bisturi (il cantante Don Backy - strepitoso nella parte dello psicopatico - in uno dei suoi rari ruoli) rapinano le paghe settimanali di unindustria farmaceutica: per fuggire salgono, con una donna in ostaggio, a bordo di unauto guidata da un uomo che sta portando il figlioletto in fin di vita allospedale. Presto la tensione salirà, con conseguenze inaspettate. Il film maledetto di Bava che nessuno ha mai visto al cinema perché, una volta portato a termine, il produttore Roberto Loyola andò in bancarotta e non lo poté distribuire. Fortunatamente nel 1995, grazie alllimpegno di una delle attrici (Lea Kruger) che lo dedica a Mario e della sua Spera Cinematografica, uscì una copia in DVD a Colonia col titolo Semaforo rosso e con alcuni cambiamenti (il lieto fine, per esempio). Ma il produttore Peter Blumenstock ripristinò poi la versione col finale originario. Per chi ha avuto la fortuna di vederlo (in italiano con sottotitoli inglesi), il film anticipa nettamente lo stile iperrealistico ed esagitato di Tarantino (che infatti lo adora) il cui Le iene è praticamente identico (linizio aggressivo, la situazione claustrofobica che fa esplodere conflitti tra gli stessi banditi, la violenza sessuale). Tratto forse da un giallo di Ellery Queen, vanta uno straordinario senso del tempo, ma si concede anche lunghe pause che, per contrasto, aumentano la tensione: fu girato (titolo di lavorazione
