Extractions: Cornell! Cornell! The Alumni Association of the University of California greeted the new President of Berkeley, Benjamin Ide Wheeler, at the banquet given by them in his honor at the Palace Hotel. With college yells and college songs these former students, some of them dating as far back as the class of '65, testified to their love of their alma mater, their interest in its welfare and their desire for its success under the new chief. In boisterous, boyish manner the old-timers and the most recent graduates fraternized and gave Mr. Wheeler a graphic idea of what they meant by "the hot time in the old town," of which they sang. He, the object of it all, was equal to the occasion. He enjoyed the fun, addressed them in the same spirit of camaraderie which they displayed, and made such an excellent impression that before the evening was over the alumni had vociferously pledged their unswerving support to the new President.

Academics - School Of Theology | Financial Aid and former editorin-chief of The Gospel Trumpet, Dr. Charles E. Brown. and Mrs. Coolidge LelandA. and Ruth M. Ide Endowed Scholarship Established in memory of http://www.anderson.edu/academics/sot/finaid.html
Extractions: The financial aid program is administered by the Financial Aid and Awards Committee. Sources of student aid include scholarships, tuition grants and loans. Most seminary students meet a portion of their seminary expenses through part-time employment in church or other work. International Students should refer to Admissions Requirements for Students Educated Outside of the United States for additional information. Applications for financial aid may be secured from the Office of Student Financial Services . Financial aid will not be awarded to students with "incompletes" remaining on their records four months after the final day of an academic term. Boyce W. Blackwelder Seminary Tuition Fund for Church of God Seminarians In June 1974, the General Assembly of the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana), on recommendation of its Special Advisory Committee on Anderson School of Theology, adopted a resolution directing the church's Division of World Service to raise funding from the church annually to assist Church of God ministerial students with the cost of their graduate training at the church's seminary. The fund honors the late Dr. Blackwelder, a member of the seminary faculty and long-time Church of God preacher and author. All disbursements assume that students receiving funds will meet the qualifications intended by the church. Such qualifications will be verified in a formal annual application process. Returning students must apply by May 1 for assistance during the following school year. New and transfer students must apply by July 1.

Extractions: A small weathered sign swings over a storefront. The sign identifies the space inside as the Ingleside Branch of the San Francisco Public Library. The library blends into its environment, and at first glance, is hard to distinguish from the stores surrounding it. Without this sign, the library could easily be missed while walking along Ashton Street, near Ocean Avenue. Only 1,237 square feet in size, the Ingleside Branch has been serving the neighborhood at this site since 1925. As the neighborhood changed, this little library has tried to keep up with the demands of its patrons. However, it's becoming increasingly harder to provide adequate services to the surrounding community for several reasons. Because of its limited space, book collections are small and conducting storytelling or arts and crafts programs is difficult. Ingleside Branch has inadequate restroom facilities, a tiny work area for staff and no hot running water.
