Extractions: SiteMap USMS Archives databases were maintained through December 31, 2002. For more recent information, please visit usms.org . This report of all USMS All-Americans and each year they were named was important in the process whereby we created databases of our history. Whereever one swimmer's All-American honors were divided over more than one name, as might happen when names were changed in marriage, we changed all information to the current name. Further, these databases were made possible by the use of a "permanent swimmer id code" . The intent was to continue to use the same code even when the swimmer stopped swimming so that the clear identification of this person and his or her swimming records would never be lost. (Some of the affidavits from the 1870's and 1880's are missing from the files even though the names appear in the index). MHGS has copies of the marriage returns for 1882 and 1883, then 1885 through April 1913. These contain the same information as the affidavits along with when the marriage was performed and by whom. Here you can access a marriage index covering Books A through Z, 9 May, 1870 to 24 May 1922. If you would like a copy of any affidavit we have, please send a SASE along with $3.00 (US Dollars only) for each affidavit to: MHGS, P. O. Box 1121, Wichita, KS 67201-1121 . You must include the names of the bride and groom, the date, Book and page number or our committee will be unable to fulfill your request. If there is no date in the date column there was no return made to Probate Court that the marriage was performed. From April 1, 1915 to May 28, 1917 (R405 through T386) no marriages were recorded in Sedgwick County, only that application was made for a license. These must be obtained from Vital Statistics in Topeka.

Hydrogeochemical Site Characterization - Projects - CIEMAT are essential to predict the radionuclide behavior, once they are released from theclay barrier. In ENRESA´s reference granite and at 500 m deep, the waters http://www.ciemat.es/eng/proyectos/pdiaecaracteriza.html
Extractions: UO 2+x stays practically unaltered under the reducing conditions that prevail in deep granitic groundwaters. The U release to the groundwaters of the granite and to the superficial waters, in the recharge zone, is in the order of ppb´s, in spite of the presence of residual mineralizations in the granite (RATONES Project). The alteration/dissolution of pitchblende (UO 2+x ) releases uranium which is mainly retained in the alteration products of the host minerals, iron oxi-hydroxides and clay minerals. Based on the study of these materials, the identification and quantification of the natural retention processes is expected, as well as the determination of parameters to complete the data bases used in the performance and safety assessment (MATRIX II Project).
