Illustrated List Of Asimov Fiction Legal Rites (with Frederick Pohl writing The Evitable Conflict Stephen Byerley ( Evidence), now ed. Raymond J. Healy, Holt (1951); Nightfall and Other http://www.cs.colorado.edu/~main/asimov1.html
Extractions: Part I: The Early Asimov (1938-1952) This is a list of Isaac Asimov's fiction. The items in this first part of the list (1938-1952) are listed according to completion date. In Part II ( www.cs.colorado.edu/~main/asimov2.html ), the items are listed by publication date since Asimov's autobiographies don't usually have exact completion dates for the later work. My intention is to eventually illustrate the list, similar to my illustrated Heinlein list . But at the moment, I'm having too much fun re-reading the works to spend much time on illustratons. I have plans for pages of other Authors from the Golden Age of SF Sources The completion dates and original publication information come mostly from Asimov's three autobiographies ( In Memory Yet Green In Joy Still Felt , and I. Asimov . There is also information on the first sixty stories in The Early Asimov . I have also used Edward Seiler's compilation of Asimov's fiction , William G. Contento's Index to Science Fiction , the Locus Index , the Internet Speculative Fiction Database , and the sfsite Asimov bibliographical summary . Corrections and additions are always welcome. Extractions: Vemilion Co., Illinois The following appeared in the , vol. 13, no. 4, published 1977; 19 E. North Street, Danville, IL. It was complied by Mrs. Gertrude D. Carter. Much of the research was done by the late Joseph Cortland Payne. Corrections and additions have been added based on research by Alice Marie Beard, and there has been some copy editing to the version below: The John Payne Family were prominent people in the affairs of Vermilion County, IL, from the earliest development of the county. John Payne, Sr., was born in New York on May 1, 1776; died May 10, 1864, Pontiac, Livingston Co., IL, and was buried in Payne Cemetery, Eppards Point Twsp., Livingston Co, IL. He married Hannah Earl about 1795-1797, probably in his home state. She was born Mar. 20, 1776, NY, and died Mar. 15, 1856 in Vermilion Co., IL. She was buried in "John Payne's Graveyard," a cemetery just north of where the Vermilion Co. Poor Farm was; it is now known as Songer Cemetery. Extractions: Low voter turnout for the Indiana primary last Tuesday, May 2, played a part in some upsets in state, district and local races. While the outcome of some races didn't pose anything different, some throughout the region held surprises as they went down to the wire before a winner was finally announced. Statewide, voters gave Republican George W. Bush and Democrat Al Gore their go ahead. Bush blew past challenger John McCain with 329,565 votes to McCain's 76,638. Gore passed opponent Bill Bradley with 219,506 votes. Bradley earned 66,236. Lyndon LaRouche Jr., the final Democrat had 9,389. For U.S. Senator incumbent Republican Richard Lugar received 356,615. Democratic challenger David L. Johnson received 192,390. Both were unopposed. Democrat Governor Frank O'Bannon of Corydon will face Republican challenger David McIntosh this fall in the general election. McIntosh received the nod over John Price, 279,996 to 114,550. Of most notable significance locally was Republican Michael Bailey's victory over challenger Kevin Kellams. The narrow win by Bailey ensures him of an opportunity to face Democratic incumbent Baron Hill in the fall general election for the Ninth Congressional District seat.
