In addition, the directors of four expanding regional offices will report to the conservation director. The successful candidate will have at least an undergraduate degree in a related subject area, demonstrated experience in managing a complex enterprise with more than 25 full-time employees and upwards of 12 seasonal employees, knowledge of the Appalachian Trail project or similar private/public recreational endeavors, and a commitment to volunteerism.
