Extractions: Mark has been commissioned to compose numerous works for Film, Television and Theatre. His works have been broadcast in Europe, USA and Australasia. He has worked with David Arnold (Stargate, Independence Day) and Nick Ingman (Keeping Up Appearances) as well as directors from the London International Film School and National Film School. His concert work includes music for symphony orchestra, choir and electro-acoustic ensemble. He is a regular conductor and composer in residence at his local symphony orchestra in Surrey. Mark began composing while a chorister at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford. One of his earliest commissions, while on scholarship to Oakham public school, was a fanfare performed at Coventry Cathedral. After leaving college Mark studied Acoustical Engineering at ISVR, Southampton, and later embarked on a career in Law. However, an undying love of music has enabled him to pursue an alternative career as composer, conductor and pianist.
