Hartford Swing Jam offers a DJ dance at the Wethersfield American Legion Hall in Wethersfield on the last Saturday of the month. The swing dance starts with a beginner East Coast Swing lesson from 7:30 to 8:30 pm followed by dancing until 11:30 pm. Swing jams offer a beginner lesson at 7:00 pm and dancing from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Dance partners are not necessary and beginners are always welcome. All dances are alcohol- and smoke-free. Membership is not required but does provide discounts to all HCD dances. Dance workshops and lessons are offered and promoted by Swing DanceWorks with Jitterbug Jane at the American Legion Post in Wethersfield.
