Dyment Genealogy - Prince Edward Island prince edward island. Every known cemetery on prince edward island has been recordedbetween the years 1972 and 1982 by the PEI Genealogical Society. http://www.sentex.net/~dyment/pei-gen/
Extractions: Since both sides of his family ( DYMENT and LADNER ) lived on Prince Edward Island for a number of generations, the Island was the main focus of his genealogical study. He has placed some information on his family on this site, as well as some P.E.I. related links that he had accumulated that he hoped you would find of value. He was mainly looking for references to the following people: SAMUEL DYMENT (born about 1845 - 1850), married to a MARY MACLEOD (born about 1849, died June 8, 1921, buried in Victoria West Cemetery). He was trying to link them into a lot of Dyment/MacLeod information that he had but needed their parents. CASSIE GILLIS , buried in Bideford United Cemetery (born about 1850, died March 7, 1899). She was married to another SAMUEL DYMENT (at least we think they were different). We have information on this Samuel Dyment, except for death date and place of burial. MARY FOLLAND (born about 1875 - 1880). She moved from P.E.I. to Maine, exact location unknown, after giving birth out of wedlock to a boy in 1896 which she gave up for adoption (my grandfather, James Williard Dyment).
CanEHdian.com: Este Mundo - Los Elementos Review of the prince edward island, Canada based Spanish band's Los Elementos release. From CanEHdian.com http://www.canehdian.com/genre/world/a/estemundo/loselementos.html
Extractions: When asked, "What is Prince Edward Island music?", Canadians generally think of Stompin' Tom Conners or more recently, youthful fiddle player Richard Wood . One of the last things that comes to mind when one thinks of the land of Anne of Green Gables fame is Spanish guitar. Yet there it exists, in the guise of the performing group, Este Mundo. This group has just released their second CD, Los Elementos , a collection of classical Spanish guitar compositions that would not be out of place in Catalonian fields. Este Mundo seem to have suddenly emerged as a group worth of note in 1998. The release of their premiere CD, Isla Rosada , led to the group winning the 1999 East Coast Music Award for Instrumental Group of the Year. In 2000, members Paul Berard, Christopher Smith and Simon Moore continued with the release of Los Elementos , which garnered the group a nomination as Instrumental Group of the Year at the 2001 East Coast Music Awards and a performance as the opening act in the non-televised portion of the East Coast Music Awards Gala Award Show.

Extractions: Camping is one of the best ways to enjoy the out of doors and is a logical activity for an outdoor organization like Scouting. It is the ideal place for youth to learn, through doing and the joy of discovery, that even chores can be fun away from home. Baden Powell spoke of camping as "the Scouter's great opportunity" and said "in camp you will learn more about your boys in a few days than in many months of ordinary meetings." Prince Edward Island has three excellent all season camping facilities, Buchan, Riverdale, and Kildare. Below you will find some detailed information about each of these camps. They exist for Scouting groups to use and explore and to enhance our youth programs.

Prince Edward Island: Fall Foliage Trails and tours for viewing fall foliage divided by region. http://www.gov.pe.ca/visitorsguide/explore/foliage/index.php3
Extractions: While many visitors focus on the summer months, more and more people are discovering the beauty of Prince Edward Island's Fall landscape. They have come to appreciate the colour of autumn leaves, the harvest of crops, the fragrance of clear, pure air, and the rhythm of a people in tune with the cycles of the seasons, the land, the forest, and the sea. The forests of eastern North America are distinctive by world standards because of their brilliance and variety of fall colours and PEI's forests are no exception. On Island hills and ridges, sugar maple leaves turn vibrant apricot-orange and mix with the fiery scarlet-reds of red maple, cherry, and sumac. These reds and oranges are complimented by the brilliant yellows of poplar, birch and beech, and offset by the rich emerald greens of fragrant softwoods such as spruce, pine and fir.
