The Coastal Management Program evaluation will be conducted pursuant to section 312 of the Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972 (CZMA), as amended, and regulations at 15 CFR part 923, subpart L. The CZMA requires continuing review of the performance of states with respect to coastal program implementation. The review evaluates the extent to which a State has met the national objectives of the CZMA, adhered to its Coastal Management Program document approved by the Secretary of Commerce, and adhered to the terms of financial assistance awards funded under the CZMA. The evaluation will include a site visit the week of May 10-14, 2004, consideration of public comments, and consultations with interested Federal, State, and local agencies and members of the public. Two public meetings will be held during the week. The first public meeting will be on Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at 2 p.m., in the Classroom at the Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve, 130 Great Bay Boulevard, Tuckerton, New Jersey. The second public meeting will be on Thursday, May 13, 2004, at 7 p.m., at the Marine Sciences Consortium, Sandy Hook Field Station, Building #22, Main Conference Room, Fort Hancock, New Jersey. A single, consistent set of energy efficiency programs is administered by each utility throughout the state. Federal customers may be interested in one of the following programs: The New Jersey SmartStart Buildings Program provides financial, technical, and design assistance for energy efficient retrofit, renovation, or new construction projects. Rebates are available for a wide range of equipment, including lighting and lighting controls, motors, variable frequency drives, gas cooling, electric chillers, various types of unitary HVAC equipment, gas-fired space and water heating, and various custom measures.
