Extractions: I am puzzled. Years ago, when I bought this cable, it seemed to do its business. Solid bass etc. There's been an annoying hardness in the treble of my system for a long time now. Guess what? I've been using Sidewinder with my Copland 288 CD-player. I replaced it with a cheap and simple powercord. Part of the problem disapperared. I don't know what has happened, but I'm not putting it back.
Extractions: The Rattler snake can be found in anyplace in the world except for Antartica. There are Diomand backs, Michigan, and many other different Rattle Snake species. Most live in Arizona and other hot desert areas. They live under flat rocks and in grassy dry areas. They are one of the most poisonous snakes in the world. with a rattle on the tip of their tail to warn away predators, the rattle snake is an easy snake to stay away from.

Extractions: Species : polylepis The Black Mamba is the most deadly snake in the world. They grow 14 feet in length, and can travel at speeds of up to 12 mph. They have a head shaped like a coffin. The Black Mamba is not actually black. They have a brownish-gray body with a light belly and brownish scales along its back. It gets its name from the color of the lining of its mouth, which is purple-black, and which it displays when threatened. The Black Mamba lives in South Africa. They like open, low habitats such as savannas, rocky places and open woodlands. They are active during the day. They often sleep in hollow trees, burrows, rock crevices, or empty termite mounds, and will come back to the same place every night. The Black Mambas feed on small mammals and birds, like voles, rats, squirrels, mice, rats, or bush babies. Once a Mamba was found with a parrot in its stomach, another with a full grown Forest Cobra! It will strike a large animal and then release it. It then stalks their victim until it becomes paralyzed. With smaller animals it will strike and hold on until the animal becomes paralyzed. Its flexible jaws and scales makes it possible to eat the animal whole.
Black Mamba they will slide away to the nearest hiding place, and are capable of doing this at20 km/h, which makes the black mamba one of the fastest snakes in the world. http://www.kingsnake.com/elapids/black_mamba.htm
Extractions: Black Mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis) Black mambas are one of Africas most dangerous and feared snakes. Nothing is truer when you are standing in front of big black mamba hissing loudly, mouth gaping, striking rapidly in your direction. But are all the frightening stories about black mambas true? I dont think so. On the African continent many myths are told about these wonderful creatures. Stories abound about black mambas chasing people for miles, attacking when they notice you and visiting houses to kill every single person inside. All are exaggerations. Black mambas are not as fierce as people describe them. In captivity black mambas are docile and appreciative animals that show a fantastic and active behaviour when housed in a big enclosure the right way. Black mambas belong to the genus, Dendroaspis, which translated means "tree snake". They are strong but slender in body with the average size being between 2.4 to 3 metres (7.8 - 9.8 foot). According to some reports they may grow on exception to 4.5 metres (14.7 feet). Black mambas that reach this size are obviously rare and verifiable data is actually hard to track down. The name "black mamba" is somewhat confusing as this animal is not black at all. The common name is given to the snake because the mouth is inky black on the inside. Most mambas have a dark olive, olive green, greyish brown or metal grey colour. Some of them will show a light banding around their body. Slightly speckled mambas are also not uncommon. Juvenile black mambas are light grey or olive in colour but will darken when older.

Extractions: There are an estimated 160 species of snakes in South Africa alone, but fewer than 10% of these are potentially lethal to man. The venom of these extremely poisonous snakes are either cytotoxic (cell destroying), neurotoxic (nerve destroying) or haemotoxic (which affects the body's blood-clotting mechanism, causing internal bleeding). The South African Institute for Medical Research produces anti venoms against all snakebites, except for that of the Twig Snake (or Southern vine snake). Fortunately, bites from twig snakes are extremely rare.

Extractions: The green mamba can kill in 30 minutes Police believe the death of a man whose body was found in a rental car at an American airport may be linked to a box of venomous snakes. Computer programmer Garrick Wales, 48, from Kilmacolm in Inverclyde, Scotland, was discovered near Little Rock National Airport in Arkansas on 13 May. A box containing four African snakes was found in a box more than half a mile away the following day. Police would not say why they believed there was a link with the snakes. Detectives have not yet released the results of a post mortem examination and have not said whether Mr Wales, who was in Little Rock on business, died of snake bites. Forest cobra The four African snakes, which were in bags inside a box, were found by a local electrician near a motorway. The 14in twig snake, 6ft green mamba, 4ft black mamba and 5ft forest cobra could all be deadly. The box was said to be marked with warnings of its contents.

Elapids Slender, fastmoving, day-hunting snakes, they prefer warm-blooded prey especiallyrodents. The terrestrial Black mamba (D. polylepis) is known for its ferocity http://www.szgdocent.org/cc/c-elapid.htm
Extractions: Elapids are extremely venomous snakes. They have hollow front fangs which are short because they are permanently erect (in contrast, the vipers have fangs which fold back and can thus be long). Most are elapids terrestrial and actively hunt their prey. Few climb trees. Elapids are the youngest snakes, developing about 20 million years ago. The family is divided into subfamilies of Coral Snakes (Subfamily Micrurinae), Cobras (Subfamily Elapinae) and Tiger Snake/Taipan (Subfamily Acanthophiinae) and Subfamily Hydrophiinae and Laticaudinae Elapids dominate in Australia probably due to the absence of other snakes species when they first arrived about 25 million years ago when Australia collided with Asia. Elsewhere, colubrids dominate. More than 25% of elapids (75 species) are found in Australia where they make up 60% of the snake species there (so Australia is the only place in the world where venomous species outnumber non-venomous ones, and where the most toxic snakes are found!). In Australia, elapids display the widest variety of habits usually displayed by other snakes. Some are like harmless colubrids, others are constrictors. But like all other elapids, none eat fish or invertebrates and none climb trees.

Extractions: Mamba aka Fair Game (1998) from Johnny Web Y'know this was actually a fairly good recipe to make a very low budget film look like a glossier production. Here's the premise: a millionaire software genius wants to kill his wife before she can claim her share of the loot in a divorce proceeding. He procures a snake which was been hormonally engineered to be instantly fatal, he adds his own electronic enhancements to the snake, thus allowing him to track the snake and exercise some control over his movements. He also slips a tracking device on his wife. He locks the wife and the snake in the same loft, turns on his laptop, and watches the snake icon follow the wife icon through a CADD floorplan of the loft. NUDITY REPORT Trudie Styler shows her buns in the tub, getting out of the tub, and undressing to get in the tub. No breasts are seen at any time. That's it. Only three people are ever on camera. There are no extras, no flashbacks, no crowd or traffic scenes, just those three people, as if in a one-act stage play with a brief prequel in the desert. There is a main snake, and a box full of other snakes. There are basically only two locales - the loft and the shack. There is one lap-top computer with really cheesy Atari-like graphics.

Black Mambas the black mamba? It is the world s most poisonous snake. Once it strikes, it holdsits victim firmly in its mouth. Its hatchlings (baby snakes) are not venomous http://www.edhelper.com/AnimalReadingComprehension_78_1.html
Extractions: Black mambas roam freely in African savannahs and open woodlands. Despite what their name suggests, black mambas are not black. In fact, black mambas have a skin color of brownish gray. So, why do we call them black mambas? Well, when black mambas feel threatened or are about to strike, they open their mouths wide and give their soon-to-die victims a good view of the lining of their mouths - it is black, of course. Although black mambas are not the world's most poisonous snakes - Australia's inland taipans are - they are deadly regardless! Just two drops of a black mamba's venom is powerful enough to kill a grown man who doesn't receive immediate medical treatment. Believe it or not, when you encounter a black mamba, its venom is not what scares you the most. Its speed of movement is. Black mambas are the world's fastest-moving snakes, and their average speed of 12 miles per hour means that they can easily outrun many animals, including us!
Mamba encyclopediaEncyclopedia mamba. mamba, name for African snakes ofthe genus Dendroaspis, in the cobra family. Widely distributed http://www.infoplease.com/ce6/sci/A0831435.html
Extractions: mamba mamba, name for African snakes of the genus Dendroaspis, in the cobra family. Widely distributed throughout Africa except in the deserts, mambas have extremely toxic venom. When attacking they raise the front of the body high off the ground and aim at the head or trunk of the victim. They do not have hoods (as do the Asian cobras), but some can inflate their necks in a threatening gesture. Members of some species are very aggressive, displaying a greater tendency to attack than do most snakes; nevertheless, their reaction to danger is often flight. The so-called black mamba ( Dendroaspis polylepis ), actually dark brown to gray, may grow up to 14 ft (4.3 m) long and is the most feared of the mambas. It lives mostly in open country and preys on small mammals and birds. The green mamba ( D. angusticeps
