Our site will offer parents, advocates and educators the latest in Internet safety tips; consumers the ability to report crimes online; and police the opportunity to contact task force investigators. 7-16-03: The Maine Computer Crimes Task Force has joined in a partnership with the National White Collar Crime Center ( ) and the Internet Fraud Complaint Center ( IFCC ) to improve our Drop a Dime on Cyber crime program. Visitors to our site may now report online crimes such as child exploitation, identity theft, or Internet auction fraud by simply completing an online questionnaire. Once completed, the report will be analyzed by staff at the IFCC and distributed to the law enforcement agency with proper jurisdiction. The Maine Computer Crimes Task Force will monitor the complaint and serve as a local contact for Maine consumers.
