Well, with influences such as Robert Smith of the Cure and beat writer William Burroughs, Skowyra's music makes a lot of sense. It's introspective, melodic, catchy and moody. Founded in 1996 from the remnants of the band Drift, Vultures are Lovebirds manage to meld angst with compassion, melody with loss. They're working on a full-length recording.
