Extractions: The Biology Corner is a resource site for biology and science teachers. The Lesson Plans sections contains classroom activities, labs and worksheets, feel free to change any of these to suit your own classroom needs. The Webquest sections contains inquiry based projects that utilize the internet. Internet lessons (also called miniquests) are smaller activities that use one or two science related web sites for the students to explore and answer questions about. Again, feel free to modify these activities so that they work for your class and your style of teaching. I've been making it a personal mission to locate and compile interactive science education sites. Some web programs like Flash can create some amazing virtual labs that students can really benefit from. You will find many of these places in the section under internet lessons, all of which utilize fantastic websites to help students understand scientific concepts. Please contact me if you know of other sites (particularly shockwave virtual labs) and I'll add more lessons. Answer keys are not included, due to the fact my students use this site.

Teachit's English Teaching Resources A free online library for English, media and drama teachers, offering quality worksheets, lesson plans, online lessons and links. http://www.teachit.co.uk/
Extractions: Whenever we ask you for feedback about Teachit the same words come up again and again: practical, useful, accessible, relevant, organised, comprehensive, up to date, supportive. Im really proud that weve been living up to this list and saving you time for all the other important things in life. Whether youre into wasp tickling, salt stacking, dust bunny sculpting (all genuine - theyre on Google!) or just want a bit of time for you we hope we can help. But no matter how many resources on offer we all know that it can be nigh on impossible to find the perfect worksheet for a particular class / teacher / objective / context. It doesnt take a genius to realise that the task that works perfectly for, lets say, 10A first thing on Monday may not go down so well with 11D last lesson on Friday, particularly if youve tried to join the normal people on Thursday and go out on a school night! And, for many of us, creating or adapting the materials is a vital part of the planning process; as anyone who has attempted to teach a cover lesson using someone elses resource can testify, these things can, and should, be personal.
